Japanese Face Massage is a deeply relaxing yet re-renergising experience, combining acupressure with a neck, head and face massage.
Traditional Chinese Medicine encompasses the belief that the body has many meridians, or lines of energy running through it. When certain areas become blocked, this can result in the body becoming imbalanced. By using acupressure to release this energy, the whole body is affected and bought back into balance, restoring the overall health and well-being. Tai-Chi, acupuncuncture, reiki, shiatsu massage and acupressure are all based on this flow of energy throughout the body.
The massage increases circulation, improving the tone, condition and appearance of the skin whilst also helping to release tension and tight muscles and also decrease puffiness.
Acupressure points within the face, also knows as Tsubos, are then stimulated by applying pressure with the fingers or thumbs, helping to release any blocked energy (Qi) and allowing the flow of energy throughout the meridians to be restored. This means that although the face is being stimulated, the whole body gets treated!
